"It is inspiring and rewarding to be part of the Education Foundation of Bloomington. From its inception, the EFB has focused its energies and resources on one thing- helping Bloomington students learn, achieve and build the skills for future success. We see teachers evaluating new instructional ideas, students gaining opportunities that their families can't afford and young people learning to give back to their schools and communities. I'm both proud and humble to be a part of EFB's many contributions." – Addie Mattson
Student Success Stipends help ensure that all students can participate in and learn from educational experiences that require fees. The Foundation’s small donations—ranging from $20 to $50—provide field trips, performances, team projects, music lessons—possible for students whose families can’t afford the related fees. Stipends also cover the $20 cost for adults to take the GED tests for high school completion.
